Why Psilocybin?

Expansive states of consciousness have been explored for centuries across cultures as a gateway to deep healing, insight, and transformation. Whether accessed through psychedelic medicines like psilocybin, breathwork, meditation, or other contemplative practices, these states offer a profound opportunity to explore the landscapes of the mind and spirit, unlocking emotions, memories, and patterns that may be difficult to reach through conventional therapies.

In a safe and supportive container, these experiences can help soften the barriers of the thinking mind, allowing for deeper connection with the body, inner wisdom, and the natural world. Many people find a greater sense of clarity, emotional release, and reconnection with themselves, often uncovering new perspectives that can lead to lasting change.

This work is not about chasing peak experiences—it’s about learning to listen, trust, and integrate what arises. With the right preparation, intention, and integration support, expansive states of consciousness can serve as a powerful catalyst for healing, growth, and a more embodied relationship with life.

My Approach

My work is rooted in the belief that healing is an unfolding process—one that is deeply personal, intuitive, and supported by the wisdom of the body, psyche, and natural world. In my role as a psychedelic facilitator, I hold a non-directive and supportive space, allowing your own inner wisdom to guide the journey. However, my background in Internal Family Systems (IFS), experiential somatic therapy, Brainspotting, and nature-based practices informs the way I support preparation and integration, helping you to make sense of and integrate the insights that arise.

  • Psychedelic experiences can reveal different parts of ourselves—some protective, others vulnerable—all holding valuable pieces of our story and important roles in our inner world. IFS provides an experiential way to engage with these parts, fostering curiosity, compassion, and self-trust. Rather than suppressing or bypassing inner voices, IFS invites us to listen deeply, allowing for integration and realizing our wholeness.

IFS-informed preparation involves getting to know your protective system and building trust with the more tender, vulnerable aspects of yourself. This creates a sense of inner safety, helping you enter an expanded state with more ease and intention. Clarifying your inner landscape before a journey can reduce anxiety and strengthen your capacity to receive what unfolds.

IFS-informed integration supports meaning-making after a psychedelic experience. Some parts of you may feel overwhelmed, resistant, or eager to hold onto peak moments. By meeting these inner dynamics with patience and presence, IFS helps transform insights into lasting change, deepening self-awareness, emotional healing, and inner harmony.

  • The natural world is one of our greatest teachers, offering a mirror for our inner landscape and a profound sense of belonging. Before we belonged anywhere else, we belonged to the Earth. Psychedelic experiences often deepen our connection to the natural world, allowing us to fully experience our place within the larger web of life. Psilocybin mushrooms themselves arise from the Earth—an ancient medicine that has coexisted with humans for millennia, guiding seekers toward insight, healing, and reconnection. My background as a wilderness guide informs the way I integrate nature into this work—whether through immersive retreats, contemplative time outdoors, or simply allowing the elements to support our process. When we slow down and attune to the rhythms of the Earth, we find that healing is not something we must force—it is something we allow.

By weaving together these modalities, I offer a holistic and experiential approach to healing—one that honors the wisdom of expanded states of consciousness while grounding the experience in integration, self-trust, and connection to the world around us.
