  • Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a powerful therapeutic approach that recognizes the human psyche as made up of distinct inner "parts," each with its own emotions, perspectives, and roles. Rather than seeing these parts as problems to fix, IFS invites us into a compassionate relationship with them, fostering deep self-awareness and healing.

In IFS work, we learn to gently turn toward our internal landscape with curiosity and care. Some parts may act as protectors, managing emotions and keeping us safe, while others carry wounds from past experiences. Through guided exploration, mindfulness, and experiential practices, we come to understand and support these parts, allowing them to soften and trust in the presence of our innate Self—our most grounded, wise, and compassionate core.

IFS is not about changing or eliminating parts of ourselves, but about creating more space for self-leadership, integration, and inner harmony. As we learn to embrace the full complexity of our inner landscape, we develop deeper trust, clarity, and connection within ourselves and in our relationships with others.

  • Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, body-based therapeutic approach designed to help process and release trauma, emotional distress, and deeply held patterns. Developed by Dr. David Grand in 2003, it is based on the understanding that our gaze is directly linked to the deeper regions of the brain where unresolved experiences are stored. By identifying and focusing on specific "brainspots"—eye positions connected to emotional and somatic activation—we can access the body's innate capacity for healing.

In a Brainspotting session, we attune to where emotions live in the body and use the eyes as a portal to deepen awareness and release stored tension. This process engages the nervous system in a way that allows for profound integration without needing to rely solely on words. With gentle guidance, clients move through layers of emotion, often experiencing a deep sense of relief, clarity, and transformation.

Brainspotting is particularly effective for trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional blocks. It is well-suited for those who struggle to verbalize their experiences, offering a direct, intuitive pathway to healing that honors the wisdom of the body and nervous system.
